The Brand Engine is the Brand section of the workspace: what every other engine designs and writes with.

What it does

The Brand Engine is the Brand section of the workspace: what every other engine designs and writes with.

  • Brand identity: the voice, colours, typography and logo, built from your website and any brandbook.
  • Brand system: the identity as a design system (the Design Kit), used by every image, carousel, page and document Nexus makes.
  • Messaging: the messaging framework, with the value propositions and proof for each persona.

The brand identity has its own guide, which covers the brand system and the messaging framework too.

Set it up

"Show the brand engine setup." lists which steps are done and the next one to do. The same checklist is on Roadmap › Onboarding in the app.

  1. Website — Your website URL.
  2. Brand identity — Build it from the website and any brandbook (brand-identity agent).
  3. Messaging framework (optional) — Build the messaging framework (value propositions and proof per persona), or import your own.
  4. Image library (optional) — Connect your photo folder: real photos for designs and posts.
