Publishing a piece
Nexus publishes to the client's CMS, draft first. When your Nexus team has turned on scheduled publishing, it can also write pieces before their date and stage them on it.
What it does
Nexus publishes to the client's CMS, draft first. When your Nexus team has turned on scheduled publishing, it can also write pieces before their date and stage them on it.
Use it
- Publish one piece: "Publish [title] to [CMS] as a draft." (see the guide for your CMS).
- On a schedule (once scheduled publishing is turned on): "Auto-create and auto-publish the calendar as drafts at 9am."
- One piece only: "Auto-publish [title] on its date."
- Published outside Nexus: "[title] is live at [url]."
- Ask Google to recrawl: "Ask Google to recrawl the sitemap."
Before you publish
✋ Check every draft in the CMS before it goes live: layout, images, links.
