Publishing to WordPress
Nexus publishes articles to the client's WordPress site as drafts, with the SEO plugin's fields (Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO or SEOPress) filled: meta title, description and focus keyword.
What it does
Nexus publishes articles to the client's WordPress site as drafts, with the SEO plugin's fields (Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO or SEOPress) filled: meta title, description and focus keyword.
Set it up
- "Connect WordPress for them." Nexus posts an authorize link for the client's own site.
- ✋ A WordPress administrator opens it and approves. WordPress creates an application password for Nexus.
The user who approves needs an Editor or Administrator role; a Contributor can't publish.
Use it
- "Publish [title] to WordPress as a draft." Check it in wp-admin, then publish it there.
- Fix a published post: "Update [title] on WordPress."
Troubleshooting
- The message says "WordPress connection expired." The application password was revoked or the user's password changed. Connect again.
- SEO fields didn't save on Yoast. Yoast doesn't accept them over the API without a small snippet on the site. Ask your Nexus team.
Prompts
