Set it up
- ✋ In the client's Shopify admin: Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps → create an app, grant read_content and write_content, install it, and copy the Admin API access token (it starts with
shpat_). Not the API secret key (shpss_). - "Connect Shopify with this token for example.myshopify.com: [token]."
- A store with several blogs: "Use the News blog on Shopify."
Use it
- "Publish [title] to Shopify as a draft."
- "Update [title] on Shopify."
Troubleshooting
- The message says "That's the API secret key." Copy the Admin API access token from the same page instead.
- Images are missing. Generated images that live in Google Drive are left out; add them in the Shopify article editor.
Prompts
- "Connect Shopify with this token for example.myshopify.com: [token]."
