Features
Publishing to Wix
Nexus publishes articles to the client's Wix blog, with images copied into the site's media library and the post author set.
What it does
Nexus publishes articles to the client's Wix blog, with images copied into the site's media library and the post author set.
Set it up
- ✋ An account admin generates an API key: Wix → account menu → Settings → API Keys → Generate API Key, with Wix Blog and Members permissions. Copy it (it's shown once).
- ✋ Copy the site ID from the site dashboard's address bar.
- "Connect Wix with this API key and site ID: [key] [site id]."
- "Check the Wix connection." It also finds the post author from the site's existing posts.
Use it
- "Publish [title] to Wix as a draft." Check it in the Wix editor, then publish.
- Fix a post: "Update [title] on Wix." It updates the same post.
Troubleshooting
- The message says "Account id doesn't match." The key is from a different Wix account than the one that owns the site. Generate the key in the owning account.
- The message says "Author required." Name the person posts should be by: "Post as Jane Smith on Wix."
Prompts
- "Connect Wix with this API key and site ID: [key] [site id]."
- "Check the Wix connection."
- "Publish [title] to Wix as a draft."
- "Update [title] on Wix."
