Roadmap Engine
The Roadmap Engine is the Roadmap section of the workspace: findings turned into action items, ClickUp sync, and the weekly rhythm of an account: the week's priorities and work in the team's Monday post, an agenda before each client meeting, and the notes, decisions and action items after it. It reads the client's ClickUp list, Slack channel and meetings, so the team always walks into a call knowing where things stand.
What it does
The Roadmap Engine is the Roadmap section of the workspace: findings turned into action items, ClickUp sync, and the weekly rhythm of an account: the week's priorities and work in the team's Monday post, an agenda before each client meeting, and the notes, decisions and action items after it. It reads the client's ClickUp list, Slack channel and meetings, so the team always walks into a call knowing where things stand.
Set it up
"Show the roadmap engine setup." shows what's done for the client and the next step.
- ClickUp list — Pin the client's ClickUp list.
- Client Slack channel — Pin the client's Slack channel.
- Account strategists (optional) — Who runs the account (meeting ingestion reads their calendars).
- A client contact on the team (optional) — The client's people are read from their Slack channel once a day; add anyone else on the Team page.
- Goals the work is measured against (optional) — Goals let each action item's priority reflect what the client is measured on.
- ClickUp sync on (optional) — ClickUp's task status moves the action items (the action-items poller).
- Monday post (the week's priorities and work) (optional) — Every Monday from 18:00 the client's internal channel gets the week's post: alerts, each channel's insight and This week's work.
- ✋ Pin the client's ClickUp list: "Pin this ClickUp list for the client: [url]." Any task link from the list works.
- ✋ Pin the client's Slack channel by asking Nexus from inside that channel: "Pin this channel to the client."
Your Nexus team turns the engine on once the required steps are done.
Use it
The week's priorities and work need no schedule: every Monday the team's weekly post in the client's internal channel has a This week's work section (open critical and high findings; action items overdue, due this week, blocked and done). The priority and ClickUp digests still run on request (digests guide).
- "Auto-prep the agenda before each client meeting." Nexus asks the meeting day and time, and whether to prep the evening before or the morning of.
Each piece has its own guide: digests, meetings (agenda, transcripts, kickoff briefing), meeting history, and ClickUp tasks.
Maintain
- After a meeting, Nexus can offer to ingest it in the client's channel with Ingest / Skip buttons. Nothing is ingested without a yes.
- Read the Monday post's This week's work section and move anything urgent into ClickUp.
- When the client moves to a new ClickUp list, pin the new one; the digests and agendas follow it.
Prompts
- "Show the roadmap engine setup."
- "Auto-prep the agenda before each client meeting."
