Content strategy
The content strategy sets the client's pillars (the topics it owns), how often to publish, the mix of article types and lengths, and who each piece is for. The calendar is planned from it.
What it does
The content strategy sets the client's pillars (the topics it owns), how often to publish, the mix of article types and lengths, and who each piece is for. The calendar is planned from it.
Set it up
- The G2M must exist first.
- "Build the content strategy." About 5 minutes.
- Review it in the strategy dashboard and approve it.
Check and curate
- "What are their content pillars?"
- Change one part without rebuilding: "Update the content strategy: publish 3 pieces a week."
- Add a pillar: "Add a pillar about fleet compliance to the content strategy."
Troubleshooting
- Nexus says a strategy already exists. It shows the current version first. Ask to update a part, or say "rebuild it" if you really want a new one; sections a person changed are kept.
