Meta performance report (Facebook, Instagram, Meta Ads)

What it does

The Meta report covers a client's Facebook Page, Instagram Business account and Meta ad accounts in one document, compared with the previous period. You can ask for one surface (Instagram, Facebook or ads) or all three, at account level, post level or both. It only reads; it never posts or changes ads.

Set it up

1. "Connect Meta for them." Nexus sends a sign-in link.
2. ✋ Someone with admin access to the client's Facebook Pages and ad accounts clicks it, signs in, and picks the Pages, Instagram accounts and ad accounts to share. Nexus saves them; the thread confirms which ones it found.
3. Build the paid ads strategy so Meta ads are graded against the client's targets.

Use it

• "Run the Meta social report." All surfaces, last month.
• "Show Instagram performance for last month." Instagram only: account, posts, reels and stories.
• "Facebook page performance report." The Facebook Page only.
• "How are their Meta ads doing?" Campaign spend and results only.

Name dates for another range ("the last 60 days"). If the client has more than one Page, Instagram account or ad account, say which one; otherwise Nexus uses the first.

Troubleshooting

• Stories from last week are missing. Meta keeps story insights for 24 hours only. The report lists the stories that are live now and says so.
• The report stopped working after about two months. The Meta sign-in lasts about 60 days. Run "Connect Meta for them." again.
