# Meeting notes, decisions and follow-ups

## What it does

Once Nexus has ingested a client's meetings (meetings guide), you can ask about them: when you last met, what was said, what was decided, what's still open and who attends. Nexus answers from the saved meetings, not from memory, and can draft the follow-up or turn the action items into ClickUp tasks.

## Use it

Each question has its own answer:

- **"When was our last meeting with the client?"** Also counts meetings that had no transcript.
- **"Summarize the last client call."**
- **"What did we decide with the client?"** Decisions that were later changed show as replaced, so you see the current one.
- **"What action items are still open with the client?"**
- **"Who are the stakeholders in our client meetings?"**

After a meeting:

- **"Draft the follow-up email for the client meeting."** A recap with action items, owners, due dates and next steps, delivered as a Google Doc for you to send.
- **"Turn the meeting's action items into ClickUp tasks."** Nexus matches each owner to a ClickUp member and shows a preview. **"Approve the meeting action items."** creates them.
- Your own to-dos only: **"Give me my own action items from this transcript."** Paste the transcript; Nexus adds the ones you pick to your personal task list.

For notes you paste that Nexus never ingested, see the ClickUp tasks guide (project plan from meeting notes).

## Troubleshooting

- **Nexus says there are no meetings.** None were ingested for this client yet. Run meet transcripts first (meetings guide).
- **An owner wasn't matched.** The name in the meeting doesn't match a ClickUp member. Fix it in the preview before you approve.
