# HubSpot CRM Engine

## What it does

The HubSpot CRM Engine looks after a client's HubSpot portal: hygiene audits that find duplicates, stale contacts and unrouted leads, implementation roadmaps for a new CRM setup, a live deal-pipeline dashboard, and on-demand lists and exports of companies and contacts.

## Set it up

**"Show the HubSpot CRM engine setup."** lists which steps are done for the client and the next one to do.

1. **HubSpot** — Connect HubSpot.
2. **Pipeline mapping** _(optional)_ — Map the deal pipeline + the custom fields the dashboard shows.

Steps marked ✋ need a person:

- ✋ Someone who administers the client's HubSpot portal clicks the connect link Nexus posts, picks the portal, and approves access.
- ✋ Confirm the deal fields Nexus suggests for the pipeline dashboard (deal source, products, call notes).

Your Nexus team turns the engine on once the required steps are done.

## Use it

- Start with a hygiene audit: **"Run a CRM hygiene audit."** The report lists what to clean up; Nexus doesn't change records in this audit.
- Rolling out a new CRM design? **"Build a HubSpot implementation roadmap from this proposal: [link]."**
- The pipeline: **"Show the pipeline dashboard."**

Each has its own guide: HubSpot audits, the pipeline dashboard, and the HubSpot connection guide (which also covers ad-hoc lists and exports).

## Maintain

- Run a hygiene audit monthly or before a campaign that relies on clean contact data.
- Refresh the pipeline dashboard before a pipeline review; the dashboard shows the last snapshot until then.

## Prompts

- "Show the HubSpot CRM engine setup."
- "Run a CRM hygiene audit."
- "Build a HubSpot implementation roadmap from this proposal: [link]."
- "Show the pipeline dashboard."
