# Client channels

## What it does

Each client has its own Slack channel, pinned to that client. In a pinned channel Nexus always knows the client, so you never name it.

## Set it up

1. Create the client's channel and invite Nexus.
2. In the channel: **"Pin this channel to [client]."**
3. Check it worked: **"Which client is this channel for?"**

A channel can be pinned to one client only. Moving a pin to another client asks you to confirm.

## Troubleshooting

- **Nexus asks which client you mean in a client channel.** The channel isn't pinned. Pin it.
- **Nexus answers about the wrong client.** Check the pin, then move it if needed.

## Prompts

- "Pin this channel to [client]."
- "Which client is this channel for?"
